Welcome to the KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy
The KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy is an integral part of the Hahnenkamm races and brings together personalities from the worlds of sport, business, culture and entertainment for a good cause. The proceeds largely benefitfarming families in need across North, East and South Tyrol.
The charity ski race takes place following the downhill on Saturday afternoon at the finishing slope of the Streif.
27 years of KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy
The KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy has been part of the Hahnenkamm Races since 1997 and was launched by WWP Weirather-Wenzel & Partner. The Trophy has been an integral part of the Hahnenkamm Races from the very beginning. What started as a modest charitable initiative has grown over the years into a well-established highlight of the race week. Today, the Trophy stands for meaningful, hands-on support for Tyrolean farming families, made possible each year through the dedication of partners, sponsors, and committed participants.
RACE FOR GOOD
The proceeds of the KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy go directly towards charitable causes. Since the very beginning, the Maschinenring initiative “Bauern für Bauern” has been the main beneficiaries, supporting farming families in Tyrol during challenging times. In 2026, the circle of beneficiaries will be expanded, with part of the donations going to the Franz Klammer Foundation, Wings for Life, and the Sozialsprengel Kitzbühel.
