27 YEARS OF KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy
WWP founders Harti Weirather, Hanni Weirather, and Burghard Hummel together with former Formula One driver Gerhard Berger and the late landowner Dr. Klaus Reisch to develop the idea of launching a high-profile ski race aimed at raising funds for charitable causes.
The charity event is supported by a long-standing patronage committee comprising Bernd Pischetsrieder, Gerhard Berger, and Burghard Hummel, who have championed the initiative for many years. In recent years, Bernie Ecclestone and Carmelo Ezpeleta have served as race directors, jointly shaping and overseeing the organization of the charity ski race on the Streif.
